Evidence presented, testimony given, head in the sand. Thats the key word, assuming. Under white privilege it is assumed that all white people start ahead of people of other races and ethnicities. The reality is not all white people do. When people do come from 0 and pull themselves up by their bootstraps it is discreditted and only happened because theyre white. This goes on to be a long list of bullshit like The cops didnt shoot him because hes white She got that job because she was white He got into college because hes white That club doesnt let black people in Etc. No, that white guy didnt reach for an officers gun, she had the qualifications for that job, he had good enough grades to get into college, and Jim Crow days are over. None of these things are exclusive to whites and can be achieved by any other race, arguably its easier for them with affirmative action.
