People can be fired for being racists, pedos, etc. Why not furries? Sadly, discrimination is very narrowly defined by law. There are plenty of groups and hobbies that people in them can completely stupidly and unfairly be denied a job over. Pretty sure I recall reading a few years back about some employers not hiring people who played online video games like WOW. And not "if they mention it in their resume" (who would?) but the employer would like...search for the hiring candidate's online profiles and if it saw s/he was a gamer, no job.
