You pout and force the knife up with a scream, completely splitting its head open. It falls down, still vivaciously trying to crawl forward, but ultimately stops moving. You shake the blood off your knife. "What the hell are these things? They're beyond zombies!" Nobert pierces away a zombie's head, but the same thing happens; it desperately tries to crawl ahead before really dying. The two of you look at each other with slight disgust. The darkness up ahead starts to show a faint, golden light. Dani catches up to both of you, shining the torch behind you. "They have emerged behind us as well." Surely enough, there's more zombies to be seen, mindlessly walking forward and not really caring that you guys are there.
