Even if somebody doesnt show up next year it doesnt change the 10 finals saves a character would get for the deal. Next year trading can impact a final and possibly some stuff next year, but even if everybody who made the deal backs out the next year it doesnt change all the bought saves being added to one or both sides.

It changes whether people are willing to make the deal in the first place. I'll save trade with anyone, but I probably wouldn't make a next contest deal with anyone but a good friend.
