I was pretty mad at him (clearly an accident) just because he may have killed the Mets sunshine. XRay was ok (that doesn't mean anything though, as we saw with d'Arnaud earlier, who had a clean X-Ray but not MRI). It actually was ruled in play since it was off his hands and the bat and he was thrown out at first while he was crumpled on the ground in pain. Luckily he's ok? Best part was he said: I saw the ball go [toward third] and I was like, Ah, crud! And then I felt the pain and I was like, Oh, crud, it hit my finger! and went to the ground.
