The board 8 wikia has a page for Hearthstone.

http://board8.wikia.com/wiki/Hearthstone

You can find the bnet IDs of numerous b8ers who play.

If you are a b8er who plays then please add yourself to the list.

.

The Boomsday Project is the newest hearthstone expansion. It was released on August 7th, about a week and a half ago so the meta is still very fresh and evolving on a day to day basis.

Many of us play constructed games, and there are some great resources for learning about the best decks to play in these changing times. Here are some generally good links for constructed:

https://tempostorm.com/hearthstone/meta-snapshot/

This site has detailed list of the top tier decks, including graphs of which decks beat which and a fairly thorough explanation of the decks win condition and a simple mulligan guide.

https://www.vicioussyndicate.com/

Check out the 'Data Reaper' section of this site. You can see an overview of which classes occur more frequently (sorted by rank) as well as a 'Tier List" that shows you the highest winrates of decks sorted by rank

https://disguisedtoast.com/meta_deck_rankings

A less scientific tier list of meta decks. You can click on any of the tier 1-3 decks to get links to a variety of different lists sorted by how recently they've been updated.

http://metastats.net/

I don't know too much about this one, but it seems to be a pretty data heavy site as well. Sorted by rank 20-11, rank 10-6 or rank 5-legend.

.

But not everyone prefers constructed, and if you want to make the most out of your Arena runs then consider these good links for Arena:

http://www.heartharena.com/en/tierlist

http://thelightforge.com/TierList

Both of these are pretty similar, with values attributed to possible arena cards based on how likely it is to be a good card. Additionally you can Hearth Arena (and a Hearth Arena overlay through the program Overwolf) to give you advice while you are drafting that considers the cards you have already to make weighted decisions. Having a good deck can give you a significant leg up on the competition before your first game even starts!

.

If there are any other good resources for hearthstone be sure to leave a link so I can include them in future topics.

.

.

And last but not least, there was some discussion before Boomsday launched of a Wizbang Tournament between us on b8.

Who is still interested in such a tournament? Let's get some interested gauged and figure out some details. Best of 3? 5? stuff like that. Let's have a Wonderful time!
