I think they even also flash backed to reused DBZ footage with purple hair so who knows what's going on with that. And nobody seems to recognize Pilaf for some reason, you'd think Oolong, Yamcha, Bulma or Puar would recognize someone who tried to kill them and summoned Shenron.
