I love my Wii U and agree that it's an underrated system. I think Nintendo's been putting out some of the best games they've ever made since the Wii U days, and they're continuing that trend strongly with the Switch. If nothing else, it was fun to sort of rank my favorites on this system, as this nomination list is an attempt to put them in order.

1. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
2. Super Mario Maker
3. Super Mario 3D World
4. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD (this would be my #2 or #3 if it weren't a remaster)
5. Smash 4
6. Rayman Legends
7. Mario Kart 8
8. New Super Mario Bros. U
9. Star Fox Zero (I know people hate this -- I was even among them at first -- but after the ridiculous ~10 or so hours it took to get used to the controls/screen system, this actually became a damn great game)
10. The Wonderful 101 (I never actually beat this and plan to start it from the beginning soon -- may very well wind up higher!)

I'd nominate Breath of the Wild, but I played it on the Switch and it would just feel weird to do that.
