Also, now he's hurt and I don't know how long he'll be gone (he can pinch-hit but not play 3B, so he isn't on the DL or anything). If the Rockies make the playoffs and the Cardinals don't then he'll have a decent chance since the voters still somewhat do that "a real MVP would lead his team to the playoffs" crap, although that seems to be changing in recent years. Maybe. The recent examples of non-playoff MVPs are Trout and Stanton but Trout is special and Stanton had the most home runs in several years ... Copied to Clipboard! |
