All joking aside, the one less god argument falls flat because it makes the assumption that atheism is the default viewpoint, and to get back to the default, you simply disbelieve in all possible deities.

But if God does exist, and one religion is actually correct, then that would be the true default, and atheists would be at fault for disbelieving in one too many gods.

I feel like the one less god argument is parallel to Paschal's wager in their uselessness at actually providing any evident reason for believing or disbelieving.
