So she did get a reward. And is bitching that she can't double dip.

My first thought was, "screw technicalities, she deserves the reward money."
But between them clearly stating in ads to call them first, and her getting an identical award from the government for it, I don't think she deserves it twice.

I do think it's a dumb rule on Crime Stoppers' part to encourage people to call them before 911 in any situation. But that's their rule. I'd never even consider contacting some private group to report a crime, I kind of forget such groups exist and I'm not sure why they do exist...
