But it has current roster, event history, nomination/signup queues, and other stuff! What is this? A pro wrestling writing project using the tabletop game Face to the Mat from Plaay.com , crossing over B8, real life wrestlers past and present, and fictional characters How does it work? In a nutshell, the game is designed to simulate wrestling matches and storylines, and I...do that, using custom-made characters and a smidge of artistic license and flavor. Whatever happens gets posted here! I have only a slightly better idea of what's going to happen any given show than y'all do, but so far the cards and dice have come up with some reasonably cool stuff! What's the interactive portion? 1) You're welcome to sign up if you want to be IN the fed itself! There's a waitlist though, so don't expect to show up right away. But tell me as much or as little about your character as you'd like, and I'll put you in line. You won't have tons of control once you're in, but I try to keep people happy to an extent. 2) Every PPV cycle, you're allowed to nominate one wrestler/character/celeb/whatever to add to the queue to appear in the fed, and one person to be a "celebrity." (basically cameo-ish appearances) That rule may change over time, and I reserve veto right for wrestlers I don't know well enough to write. 3) I'll come up occasionally with questions for y'all to discuss or vote on- for instance right now I need a name for the eeeeevil stable of @IhatethisCPU , @Korayashi , and @Eddv ! There's also a Bowser/Miz tag team that could use a name. What's the schedule? No set schedule, but I'd guess it'll be in the ballpark of a show a week depending on RL stuff. Every third show is a "PPV" with higher stakes, more detailed writeups, and usually some sort of (randomized) gimmick. What have I missed? If you wanna be thorough, check that google doc at the top. Cliff's notes though: -John Cena won the title in an untelevised ~~random draw~~ tournament in Rio de Janiero, allegedly defeating Bowser in the finals. -CPU, eddv, and Kora have formed a stable and gone on a tear through the fed! They've been injuring folks and threatening kittens at knifepoint. -Despite this, Cena retained over Eddv and Mario at Triangle Trauma -Maniac is working through an injury, and Daniel Bryan has been sidelined, forcing him to miss the upcoming.... -KING OF THE RING tournament this cycle! -Bowser and Miz have teamed up for the time being. -Despite being a crazy cat person, @Panthera has crossed the path of Incineroar. Did you want to tag @eaedwards6400 as well? I sure did. --- Look at all those chickens I can be impulsive!
