I'm glad my father gave up Islam before I was born. I mean, sure, all his friends were Muslim and he himself was a communist terrorist, but at least he raised me without trying to indoctrinate me into any belief systems. Hell, I didn't even find out he was a communist terrorist until after he died. He tried hard to integrate to Sweden after he fled Turkey.
