It never impresses me, but all of the sections are okay to good, so I'd actually call this one of the most solid songs on the list so far. My favourite section would be 0:49-1:17. The transition at 1:17 sounds particularly nice, but I kinda wish it actually built into something more epic. Something I find really surprising for a song from this era though is the solo, starting at 1:54. I can't think of any other SNES songs which just go nuts like that.
