Like it's trying too hard - or that the song itself thinks it's the greatest thing ever when it's not. I could do without some of the vocal additions too, especially that opening. My favourite part is 1:22-1:41, and each other time it appears - a satisfying section to listen to, especially with the build up. Individually, there is actually some really sweet instruments in this song. The groove is immense.
