| CoolCly 07/26/18 9:01:12 PM #262: | Anyways, overall for Doctor Strange, I thought it was fine. It was a fine origin story. Benedict was good as Doctor Strange. The visuals were all cool. But it didn't make me *love* Doctor Strange. He's the magic guy I guess. He's alright. I also thought magic as a whole wasn't very explored. I wasn't left feeling wonder at the things they can do. It felt really... basic. Aside from the acid trip meant to impress us. I feel like there's this whole new avenue to tease us with but I don't feel like there's a ton I'm interested in seeing in future Doctor Strange movies. "Dormammu, I've come to bargain" was excellent though. Overall I put this in the lower end of the MCU in the "good" movie tier alongside most of the other good origin stories. --- The batman villians all seem to be one big joke that batman refuses to laugh at - SantaRPG ...
