I'm not burned out on FE yet, I'm deciding whether I should go back and do radiant dawn or do Fates next after awakening Fates can be good as kind of a break from the norm to avoid burnout, it has a ton of mechanics that are a bit odd compared to the rest of the series (weapons have infinite durability but come with various side effects to balance out the stronger ones, skills are much more obviously useful than in Awakening, the pair up system has been redesigned to be way more strategic). If you're into the whole Waifu Emblem thing it's also likely to appeal on that front too. Writing is somewhere between bad and worse, but gameplay wise it's got some pretty cool ideas and Conquest is great from a challenge stand point. --- Meow! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
