I hardly ever eat at McDonalds, but I went to one for breakfast within the last month or so because I needed to get something to eat quickly before helping someone move. To my surprise, they gave me a number card and told me my food would be brought to my table. Similar to a Culvers, if youre familiar with them.

Not sure if thats something that is being implemented everywhere or if just a select few are trying it out.

Yeah. I've seen it a couple of times. Whataburger does that, too. And some other fast food places have started doing it... At some locations...
