There's almost no difference in the race makeup of the average white American and white Mexican. Of course the average Mexican is not white, just like the average American is no longer white. Neither counts as authentic European either as their language and cultures are completely distinct. My generations Mexican side is definitely throwing away the culture. Basically none of us even speak Spanish. I like most of American culture and I live in it.
