He didnt get fired because of the tweets, he got fired because a conservative group drummed up enough outrage to force Disney to do something. He has been very outspoken against Trump. So basically he got fired when people found out about the tweets... yeah that's kind of the way it goes. This happens all the time. Years later tweets can come back to haunt you. And like he said... they market to kids so having a guy making multiple pedo jokes is something that isnt a good look for them.
