Gee, I wonder what the fucking motive was? Thankfully he didnt have a gun! Would have been much worse. I would rather be shot than stabbed. Being stabbed hurts alot worse than being shot. you'd rather be dead than have a chance at life? Either way can kill you amd either way may not kill you. One is not more of a death sentence than the other.
