"Abolish ICE" seems to be a growing rallying cry among progressives, but I haven't seen anyone talk about what happens after that. Is their plan to abolish ICE and not replace it with anything or delegate their responsibilities to a different agency? "Abolish ICE" makes for a catchy slogan to put on posters but it's a little light on details. I could get behind "abolish ICE and roll up their important responsibilities to the FBI" or something similar but that doesn't fit on a t-shirt. Like a number of federal agencies ICE is a terribly run organization that occasionally accomplishes something important.

Admittedly I haven't spent much time looking for these details so they could be out there. Are there lawmakers calling for ICE to be dissolved that have proposed a detailed plan on how to accomplish it?
