I think that's the most pitiful kind of person, myself. Imagine having a problem so bad that you can't even put your family first. I've seen someone who was a good mother get addicted to meth and eventually have her child taken away by social services by the grandmother. Imagine that; your own mother enacting legal proceeding to take your child away from you when just 2 years ago you were a model parent.
