I probably didn't need to, but I fully enhanced Rejuvenate, kept his attack low so as not to kill Shantotto with Bushido, and occasionally used his other buffs if I had the time. Friend Barb was a 100% Evade provoker, which worked great for me as it let me chain her with Shantotto, leaving my own Barb free to chain cap with DC Aeroja. Just Shiva and Carbuncle left. Not sure if I'm going to push for those or not. All 3 star espers are worth it. Even at level 1 they are more powerful than their level 40 two star counterpart. Shiva was definitely the most annoying out of all of them released but its doable. You can make carbuncle easy or hard depending on how you beat it. I just stayed light with Carbuncle and never really ran into any issues. I also kind of cheesed with a setzer double dice capper to 3 Freyvias to bypass his high spirit/def --- "Doesn't matter, still obtainable.
