My first ever gf.

Basically I went on a double date with my one buddy and his gf and his gf's sister. Except I didn't quite register it was meant to be a double date at the time.

So after going to see a movie together we went to a local arcade that also served chili dogs called Top Dog. I went off on my own to find a game to play. I ended up playing the original Mortal Kombat(this was 1993 or so).

So I'm zoned out playing the game. My buddy comes over and all I hear are the sounds like the adults from the Peanuts cartoons.

About maybe 5-10 seconds after he left my side after I waved him off going 'yeah yeah whatever' I realized he asked me if I liked his gf's sister. I immediately stop playing the game, start to sorta slo mo(or it seemed like slo mo at the time) run in their general direction. But I see him talking to her and her smiling after he tells her something. At which point I go:

Yet we both kept trying to date each other on and off for the next five years. I really should've been honest with her and said I wasn't looking for anything at that point. I think ever since then I've tried dating only because it's the 'normal' thing to do, with each relationship being worse than the last. Least I finally learned my lesson after this last one(five years ago).
