The bear leans over the counter. "My wife--blessed is she--lives in the woods near this town. I would like you to tell her to make vegetable stew for dinner."

The two of you pause for a moment.

You blink a few times, then speak up. "Is...that it? For something worth a shit-ton of Icas, you just want us to tell your wife something?"

He smiles. "Her cooking is priceless to me. And I do grow hungry as I have had to tend to the shop all week without rest. I hope you find my request reasonable."

You and Evi look at each other, then you look back at the shopkeep bear. "Well, it sounds bearable. We are beary glad to bear the bearden of your request--"

Evi elbows your side. "I can't bear to hear more. Shut it."

You rub your side. "Okay, jeez. Someone hates fun."

You look back at the menu on your HUD. "Yeah, I guess we'll take an HP potion."

The two of you leave the shop and stand back in the center of town. You look over to Evi, who's sitting on a bench with a somewhat longing face. "What are you moping about?

She sighs. "I miss that sword." She stares at the clotted cut on her fingertip. "It felt so good."

You raise an eyebrow in slight disdain. "Erin, what the fuck. Is wrong with you."

She glares at you. "There's absolutely nothing wrong for having an intense, passionate love for all things sharp! The precise metalwork...the subtle little details put into every inch of a sword's hilt, the guard--the blade! It's all--"

You shush her with your finger. "Alright, I get it. You're a degenerate, too."

She stomps her foot. "I am not--"

You shush her again. "Overrulled. C'mon, let's get ready to leave."
