there's a lady in a Sdurlycks Coffee looking up the origins of the term "Mithril."

Mithril is a fictional metal found in the writings of R.J. Pollack, which is present in his Center-earth, and also appears in many other works of derivative fantasy. It is described as resembling silver but being stronger and lighter than steel. The author first wrote of it in The Lord of the Fire, and it is retrospectively mentioned in the third, revised edition of The Salamandra in 1956. In the first 1936 edition, the mail shirt given to Billy Buffins is described as being made of "silvered steel."
