Topic	Why is the NY Comic Con ticket process so annoying?

That said I believe you used to be able to buy tickets from Midtown Comics at one point Uh, I literally bought tickets for NYCC at Jim Hanley's Universe or Midtown Comics every year from 2006 to about 2011.
