Thor 2, Iron Man 2, and Incredible Hulk make up a meh tier for me as well!

I'll just fill it out with the movies you've seen so far. I don't really rank within the tiers.

GREAT TIER - a bunch of movies that just blew me away in basically all aspects

Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Guardians of the Galaxy
The Avengers

you must be this tall to be great tier

Iron Man

GOOD TIER- a bunch of movies that I really liked but maybe had a couple things holding them back

Avengers: Age of Ultron
Captain America: The First Avenger
Iron Man 3
Thor

Mediocre tier
Thor: the Dark World
Iron Man 2
Hulk

Basically, I think Iron Man 1 is just such an excellent movie that's only held back by just being a bit rough around the edges as the first movie they made, and the final act devolving into a generic Iron Man vs Bigger Iron Man fight where Obie, who I really liked, kinda stopped being a character. But I love the charisma of Tony, and the development he undergoes in the cave is really top notch. It's just a really great movie.

I have a hard time ranking the GREAT movies against eachother, but my litmus test of deciding if a movie can rank alongside them is "did this come together better than Iron Man did?". Often, I liked a movie, but they didn't necessarily excel beyond Iron Man 1. I really like the First Avenger, but maybe they had too many laser beams for being set in WWII? I liked Thor, but maybe they didn't develope him being worthy of the hammer quite as much as I wanted? I liked Iron Man 3, but maybe Killian was a little weak as the focal villain? These aren't even really worse than Iron Man, they just don't surpass it.
