She meant that she thought of herself as a monster because she willingly subjected herself to sterilization, for the purpose of becoming a better assassin. Not just the fact that she is unable to give birth. I just think it was hilariously weird and awkward in that movie. It might have been the way the dialogue was set up, it might have been that she held a green giant's hand for six seconds and this apparently caused a flood of revelations that were so forced in that moment. Again, it's just my opinion of it, but in a movie full of technojargon and world-specific dialogue that doesn't have any emotional value, this felt like such forced emotional manipulation that it stands out like a sore thumb.
