By miss I mean less that they don't get it and more that they just don't like it. But I love Ultron in this movie!

Really, the biggest downfall is that they didn't make an "Ultron Prime" that could really mess up the avengers. They did give him a slightly stronger form for the climax but it was still pretty weak. There's that scene where Iron Man, Vision, and Thor cross the streams or whatever to take him out, but it was like, what's the point? Pretty much everybody could take him on. I don't mind the flood of disposable robots for everyone to smash but not having a really strong Ultron made the fighting all feel a bit lacking.

The Vision was supposed to be his Ultron Prime but that got taken away, which is fine. I just wish his backup was stronger. Like maybe just as strong from vibranium reinforcement, just lacking the extra specialty the mind stone gives.

Anyways, the thing people often complain about this movie is that it was "too much" which I agree with to an extent, and I feel it more and more every rewatch. There's just a lot they are trying to do so every scene feels a little too quick. There's not enough room to breathe. The farm scene is good but that doesn't slow down the pace of everything else.

But I don't think this hurts the movie *that* much. Everything that's happening is still awesome. Ultron, the Vision, Tony and Bruce being mad scientists, the farm, the party at the start, the floating fucking city, the Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Klawe.... it's all great. I don't see how having it makes it a "bad' movie... it just makes it not a top notch one.

Personally, I have a tier listing of how I like the movies, and most of them are split into a GREAT movie tier and most of the others are in a GOOD movie tier, and because of the pacing issues, I have in the GOOD movie tier. But I still thoroughly enjoy the whole thing. I can't comprehend thinking it was a terrible movie.

I haven't posted my tier list since I think you'd probably prefer to experience the movies with as few prior expectations as possible... but SOME DAY when you see infinity war I'll post it. All I'll say is that the GREAT tier used to be pretty small and only gets bigger and bigger as time goes on....
