I hit the beginning of chapter 10 in Xenoblade 2 and the crazy bullshit is starting. Ive been waiting for this lol. I wonder if it will get Xenosaga levels of crazy

It's still crazy how 1 and 2's universes were both created by normal humans messing with crazy technology. Are the Bionis and Mechonis just like the Titans?
A bit different. Bionis is actually Klaus' other half, and Mechonis is Galea, aka the woman Klaus was arguing against. Even after their previous life, they're still bickering in their new world. Meanwhile, titans are just blades who've lived long enough and learned long enough and takes the data to grow into a titan form. On a side note, the 3rd Aegis that disappeared is pretty much commonly agreed to be Alvis from Xenoblade 1, because he's the one who gives Shulk his Monado.
And yeah most people speculate that 1's world is the one that got created by Klaus activating the conduit, and 2's world is the remains of the original world that Klaus basically put a blanket over. At the end of 1, Shulk creates a new world to live on rather than being reliant on Bionis and Mechonis, frequently revered as if Gods of the world, and a common theory is that at the end of 2, you'll clearly see that world Shulk created ---
