I will say for myself that I do appreciate the story of Zero Escape, NieR Automata, and Steins;Gate, and if you want, I can defend those choices. Go on and defend them if you like. I'm not criticizing them specifically or anyone that enjoys them. But you have to do some serious mental gymnastics if you can look past any given Japanese title that is riddled with all the same flaws people love to shit on QD for. You're gonna call them out on forced sex scenes / nudity and then turn around and fire up "Big Ol' Anime Titties 6"? You're gonna complain about, lack of gameplay stilted dialogue, horrible writing, and bad plots? When you can sit through 6000 hours of cutscenes featuring over-the-top characters having nonsense conversations, speaking in a manner that absolutely no one does.
