what do you consider is the minimum percentage one needs to claim a specific ancestry?

It's very subjective. In my mind, you either need a grandparent from the place or be at least a quarter of it to say "I'm ____", otherwise it's stretching things a bit. Less than that, I'd just say "some ____ heritage". There can be a big difference between having ancestry and being something.


So a grandpa or a 25%, got it.
