Anti-globalism is anti-international banking and anti-corporations, so it's inherently left.

anti-globalism is being against a one world government. how is that "anti-corporations"?

Why do you think blue-collar workers voted for Trump (presented by the media as way more to the right) over clinton? Because he promised them jobs, he promised to work to restore their dignity and end their poverty.

i don't disagree with you that actual leftists had very little to no options to vote for in the last election (perhaps they could have voted for some super small fringe party), but the "trump is pro-poor people" narrative that got pushed hard by the pro-trump camp is nonsense. in this regard trump was just spouting the same bullshit that's been spouted by tons of right-wing people before him: "lower taxes are GOOD for the poor!" "we should greatly lower the taxes of the rich because their wealth will trickle down to the poor!" (he literally copied this idea from reagan, who already proved it's false.) you just like it now because you like trump and he's the one saying it.

i think blue-collar workers voted for trump because he talked in an understandable way and they liked his attitude. because of this they mistakenly believed he has their best interests at heart. it's basically this generation's version of "GWB is good because he seems like a guy i'd like to have a beer with."
