Why should I feel bad for something someone else did?? that doesn't make sense! white guilt isn't exactly about feeling bad is it it's just about knowing that a group of people that you might resemble once oppressed persecuted and enslaved an entire people based on the color of their skin and then treated them like shit every following year after that you saying "why should i feel bad about things that happened before me" is just rationalization meant to absolve you, personally, of any crimes (that you have not committed) this indicates that, at the very least, you understand that bad things happened in the past so you sorta do harbor white guilt --- ...
