College is the only way to gain knowledge

Unless we're talking people like surgeons or high end sciences I'm going to have to disagree with that claim.
Some of the absolute dumbest people I have ever know in work and in life have been among the college educated crowd. They don't know shit. I mean they don't know jack squat shit about their jobs. They come in and you may as well grab someone off the street because they know nothing about the work or how to work well with coworkers. But the one thing they all excel at. They kiss ass like nobody's business. They all make themselves sound like god's gift to existence when it comes to talking up what they're capable of, what goals they have, how they plan on motivating people, changing things up, etc.
So imho that's the one and only thing college actually contributes to a person as a person. The ability to kiss ass and make themselves sound indispensable.
