Saudi Arabia plays a 4-2-3-1 formation and starts off in Round 2 of AFC qualifying with a home/away series against Hong Kong (we are the first team to miss the cut in getting a bye to Round 3)

24' SAUDI ARABIA GOAL (N. Al Shamrani) - headed the ball over their keeper on a corner
38' HONG KONG GOAL (Chan Siu Ki) - lol damn wtf. Lob through was sent over my defense and hit on the volley by Siu Ki. Didn't realize I was playing Brazil.

Lol wow. I had 9 shots to their 2 but couldn't regain the lead. I mean, I should beat them in the 2nd game anyway, but the fact that I couldn't do it here is worrying...

3' I send a shot off the left post and out early on
30' SAUDI ARABIA GOAL (M. Al Shalhoub) - ok there we go. "Goalkeeper had no chance there." Lol yes he did. He very much had a chance but he just fell over toward the ball as it slowly rolled into the bottom left corner. I felt like I was watching my goalkeeper.
45' SAUDI ARABIA GOAL (T. Al Jassim) - that one was legit. Good ball movement, passing the ball up to an attacking midder, who waited for another midder to run by before sending him a through ball to be struck over the keeper's shoulder inside the far post.
Halftime: Saudi Arabia 2, Hong Kong 0
Hong Kong would now have to score 3 goals to knock me out, so though they were pesky for one game, I think I'll be ok.
60' SAUDI ARABIA GOAL (T. Al Jassim) - another corner header
90' HONG KONG GOAL (Lee Wai Lim) - Impressive consolation goal for them. A free kick with similar placement and spot on the field as Ronaldo's against Spain. Hong Kong player curved it inside the near post. My keeper got hands to it but it deflected in.

12' SAUDI ARABIA GOAL (Y. Al Qahtani) - I send a through pass to Al Qahtani but he's held initially with no call. Luckily I almost immediately win the ball away from the defender and knock the ball home, just as the goalie is charging at me.

Kinda nervous about conceding, would really like 1 more.
64' FFFfffffaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Had a great run in on goal, beating all defenders - tried to go far post but the keeper charged just enough to get a piece.
80' Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my god. My keeper just saved 2 shots in 2 seconds. First was a blast from the right side of the box, which my keeper deflected, giving Oman an attempt at a header, which my keeper someone recovered in time to parry away before my defense cleared it. SheeeEEeeeesh.

Goddam, their keeper made about 5 saves in the last 5 minutes, definitely could have been 2-0, though I guess it could have been 1-1 as well, so I'll take it.

4' SAUDI ARABIA GOAL (T. Al Jassim) - lolol, that was already my 3rd shot on goal. Won a free kick right away which I hit into the wall and out. First corner kick was barely saved, but the second was not.

Same as the first match - I got the early goal, am keeping the pressure up, but would really like to score again in case I concede.

Yeah, really went the exact same way as the first match in the group - definitely should have had a goal in the 2nd half (had 10 shots on goal to their 1 for the whole match) but had some close calls on my end as well.
