Sorry but you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Yes, it is. It breaks federal law. By definition, it is a crime. Idk what you're going for here, but it's very wrong

Many (almost most) so-called illegal immigrants in the US are people that have legally entered but stayed past their welcome. Overstaying a visa is only punishable by deportation. No federal statute defines it as a crime.

What is different and wrong (and in violation of human rights) at this time are that children are now separated from the families. It used to be that everyone was sent back together. Now children are taken and held after parents are deported. If it's about removing people that aren't supposed to be here, why on earth would anyone keep the children behind? yet they are...

Asylum claims are done legally at ports of entry. This is, for the most part, illegal crossings. So they are being prosecuted for it. As they should be.

These applications can be done by people that do not have permission to enter. Now when people try to enter to claim asylum the family is separated and the parent is deported--without children--without being given a chance to apply. This is not what was done before. This is a new approach headed by this administration alone

Because they are here illegally. We don't pick and choose, based on emotions, who gets to stay. You have to do it legally. Sucks and may seem harsh, but that's how it is. There are rules. We can't have a country and a society for too long if we continue to ignore them

"it's the law" is not justification.

How was a 4 year old supposed to file these papers?

This man killed himself due to deportation.

HOWEVER, that is not the job of the executive branch of government to decide. That's completely unconstitutional. That is an overreach of power. Their job is to enforce laws. Not enforce whatever law they like

the executive branch of the government is not law enforcement.

You guys are, literally, advocating for the guy who you think is Hitler to pick and choose what laws he wants to enforce. How could anyone think that's a good idea. You have to see the problem here. You have to see the double standard, the irony, the hypocrisy. You have to. It's black and white.

...what?

I don't think he is hitler. I do think he is consistently promoting Nazi policies and that is a dangerous path for the US. Difference.

The Nazis did in fact separate families and not allow children to be reunited. it wasn't long after that before they were OK with killing "other" people en masse.

It's not. It's the media telling you to act offended, open your hearts and let everyone in. And they got you good.

Open. your. fucking. eyes.

And this? This happened under Obama initially. That doesn't make it OK. Immigrants are in for drastically worse treatment already.
