Guess what? Undocumented immigration is not necessarily a crime.

Sorry but you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Yes, it is. It breaks federal law. By definition, it is a crime. Idk what you're going for here, but it's very wrong

No, they're claiming to be enforcing parts of the law as a way to justify inhumane treatment. Please tell me exactly what laws have been broken when someone is in the US. It's not illegal to enter the country to seek asylum, with or without your children. And when laws are broken, there are typically steps to enforcement that aren't just taking children away indefinitely. Why aren't you fighting for these people to have a fair trial or to not suffer unlawful detention? They are humans in America even if they weren't both there

Asylum claims are done legally at ports of entry. This is, for the most part, illegal crossings. So they are being prosecuted for it. As they should be.

There's also the deportation of adults that have been in America nearly their entire lives. Why? Because their original adoptive parents didn't file a form correctly.

Because they are here illegally. We don't pick and choose, based on emotions, who gets to stay. You have to do it legally. Sucks and may seem harsh, but that's how it is. There are rules. We can't have a country and a society for too long if we continue to ignore them

Not all laws are just and not all laws should be enforced as they are. This would be a prime example. Just doing my job/enforcing the law has been the justification for so many human rights abuses in history.

No. Here you are with emotions again. Look, doc, we can absolutely find common ground saying not all laws are just. They're not all fair. Iabsolutely agree with you on that. HOWEVER, that is not the job of the executive branch of government to decide. That's completely unconstitutional. That is an overreach of power. Their job is to enforce laws. Not enforce whatever law they like

I want to really hammer this point home right now. I love President Trump. I voted for him. I made 4 grand on the election because I knew he would win. I'm extremely happy with the job he's doing and he has my vote in 2020. But I wouldn't be comfortable giving him the power you're asking me to grant him. Now, I'm going to go out a limb here and say you're the common internet liberal who thinks Trump is Hitler and all that nonsense. Even if you're not, I've seen the argument of "don't enforce this one" all week with liberals of similar mindsets.

Using your argument, your belief that he shouldn't enforce this law. You guys are, literally, advocating for the guy who you think is Hitler to pick and choose what laws he wants to enforce. How could anyone think that's a good idea. You have to see the problem here. You have to see the double standard, the irony, the hypocrisy. You have to. It's black and white.

These immigration officials are also detaining and jailing citizens for looking brown. This is a serious issue.

It's not. It's the media telling you to act offended, open your hearts and let everyone in. And they got you good.

I think a lot of you really need to do a little research as to what a Nazi is and who Hitler was. I've never seen a word thrown around so haphazardly before. Another thing they've managed to trick people into.
