It honestly helps a lot that the Men in Blazers do the between-game commentary. Of course I've heard all the recorded segments several times by now, but there are some bits that still make me laugh.

Round 3 - Match 1: at Mexico
10' Dang. I mean, very early but I've had most of the possession, and just fired a shot that Ochoa barely got a piece of to deflect it out for a corner....which I couldn't do anything with. Corners are basically impossible to score on when the other team has a higher rating, they'll always win position.
16' Peralta sends a header wide, terrifyingly close to the left post
34' Holy shit. My keeper makes a goddam hero save, barely getting fingertips to a shot from Dos Santos as he's all alone in on goal. Corner kick.
35' MEXICO GOAL (J. Hernandez) - damn you Chicharito. Someone gets a head to it for Mexico and it basically works as a pass up to Chicarito, who is kept onside by my dumb defenders standing on the goalline.

67' ohhhhhh my goddddddddddddddd. Had a 2-on-2 break, the 2 defenders home in on the guy dribbling up, I try to pass it down to my Peralta for a one-timer but he has trouble handling it. Eventually he gets to where he can shoot but it goes barely wide-right.
81' The game stopped reading my controller's inputs, even after turning the controller off and on. Guess I get to try this match again. Yay EA.

Round 3 - Match 1: at Mexico - take 2
14' ok uhhhhhh I don't like this, Mexico seems way scarier. They've already had 3 chances in on goal where I've won the ball away at the last second.
17' MEXICO GOAL (G. dos Santos) - ok, yeah, fuck this. My goalie is playing way worse. Dos Santos hits a pretty slow roller inside the left post and my goalie just falls over toward it when he definitely had time to make the save. If I lose by worse than 1-0 I'm gonna be pissed.
27' lol 1 guy dribbles it all the way down from my own third. A Mexican defender makes a tackle in the box but the ball goes out for a corner...and the game gives me the commplete wrong player who is nowhere near making a play on the cross. Good job EA.
36' hoooolllllly shit. Beautiful chance for Fana - I pass down to him alone in the box, then rifle a shot towards the right post, but it's too close to Ochoa, who parries it out. Corner...yeah, nope, corners are useless. Might as well just give them a goal kick.
45+' Mexico wins a corner so of course they'll score right on half time...oh wait I get a goal kick. OK, coulda sworn I cleared it out. Well I'll take it.
