it's not that bad though. you don't HAVE to start at the beginning. you can find the beginning of arc that looks interesting and start there, and then jump around. it's better than never reading them at all. your missing out. anyway, comics are designed to have many natural jumping on points. they WANT new customers to come in. like I keep saying, it is no where near as hard as you think it is

But that still all pretty much boils down to "jump in somewhere and figure it out," which is what I wanted to avoid in the first place.

I guess it's not so bad if they try to keep new readers in mind whenever a new arc starts, and not just assume you know everything that's going on.
