Sure, provided you bring along the specific console required for your game of choice and you have a tv with the proper input jacks to hook it up to, and the game hasn't degraded or broken like internal batteries and copper components do on some older cartridges. Meanwhile I'll be sitting at any desktop or laptop on earth and all I need is my password and enough hard drive space and Steam will install the game and move my save files from the cloud. I've sat on many 4 hour bus rides with my laptop playing games from any number of old consoles via steam, all while offline. How horribly inconvenient. Notice how literally everyone in this topic is on one side of the argument and you're on the other?
