This dude is just desperate to hate Steam for no reason and he's complaining about things that are either objectively better than consoles or he's making things up

On the other hand, any dimwit company who wants an extra buck could take back a digital release and you have nothing to say about it.

Maybe YOU haven't lost a digital game yet. We've seen games get delisted. PT vanished. It's the fact they have the ability to do it. And I like the collecting aspect too. I go all the way back to Atari.

No. You purchased the game and it belongs to you. That's the law. No company in history has ever had the legal right to take a product back from the buyer. The closest thing is recalls, which are only done because the product is deemed dangerous or faulty, and even then recalls aren't really mandatory, just a way of the company getting ahead of legal repercussions by acknowledging a problem. No one can come into your house or go on your computer and take something you have purchased.

Yes, Steam can remove a game from the listing so no new people can buy it, but people who already own it can still play it and reinstall it forever. That is entirely different from a game being taken away from you. Your entire argument is pulled directly from your butthole. So you like collecting? Fine. That doesn't mean Steam sucks. It means you prefer doing things the archaic way.

I have plenty of reasons, all true. Because of Steam PC's will never catch up with consoles again. Specs and graphics aren't as important as you think.

I know, because I bought the disc. The rights can't be sold and my game disabled remotely. There are no such protections with digital. As I said it may not have happened to you yet but we've seen enough to know they CAN do this. A disc at retail will drop in price months faster than anything digital online.

Oh it absolutely means Steam sucks as well as anyone ignorant enough to use it. Maybe you don't know or don't care what it's doing without your permission. Hell it's probably your parent's PC anyway. I won't say digital is useless as there is room for both. But going all digital is 100% wrong.
