Considering you're not getting a disc/case/manual, 90% off is only a fair price. Uh huh freedom. Including not being able to play online or at all because there's no off mode or a forced update. Why would you buy cards in the first place?

First off, you don't buy the cards. You get them free for playing games naturally.

Secondly, have you even read a manual since.... '08?

They're the most barebones pieces of shit ever. Manuals haven't been good since the PS2/NGC/OGXB era. Furthermore, discs are completely obsolete and redundant now. I'd be all for 100% physical copies of games, but now they only exist to install the game onto your HDD and ironically, as a form of DRM. Even though you have the game on your console's HDD, you can't play it without the disc unless you own the game digitally

I honestly don't know what you're talking about regarding not being able to play online or otherwise.

So like a copy of trophies...

When there is one I might flip through it. Do know that I buy some special editions so they aren't all a single slip of paper.

Wrong. They may install from the disc but that copy is mine. It can't be taken away if a license expires. Without discs you're paying too much for nothing. As bad as Steam is, there's a reason they have to sell games for 75% off.

Yeah typo. Should say offline. My internet went out for a couple days (it was new at the time) and Steam decided that I shouldn't be allowed to play HL2. Well, I decided Valve is no longer relevant to gaming. I only bought Portal 2 on PS3 because of a pricing error. Then made sure to play it offline just in case it 'phoned home'.
