Yeah, having frequent sales of 50-90% off, freedom to access your games from any PC, and the ability to sell useless trading cards for additional store credit really blows.
Considering you're not getting a disc/case/manual, 90% off is only a fair price. Uh huh freedom. Including not being able to play online or at all because there's no off mode or a forced update. Why would you buy cards in the first place?
It's not worth the effort. You can't place Steam in a positive light. Tried it once and I haven't used a PC for gaming in 10+ years.
Uh, there's an offline mode for Steam and has been for a long time. Oh no an update, consoles would never make you wait to play a game if there was one of those.
Consoles these days are trash and that's the only reason I made the jump and upgraded my PC.
I miss how the 360 used to be it's own little self-contained entertainment device. But that got ruined with the kinect update, share buttons, and GTAV. ---
