I picked it over the PS2 port on the PS4, mainly because of the driving controls (I do not want to drive with face buttons, and I am already familiar with the original Xbox version which used triggers to acceleration and brakes instead, and using the right analog stick while driving is better, as well as an increased draw-distance, which is a must for flying, but I also know that they had to keep the draw-distance limited to keep the illusion of a massive state, rather than a tiny square).

The game looks like ass, but mainly due to how old the original is (and was never a good looking game to begin with), even with the updated textures. Camera controls are too sensitive, so I had to turn it down. Some controls were changed (with the stats having you hold right on the D-Pad instead of holding down the left trigger).

Framerate is a rock solid 30 FPS (even though I would have preferred 60). I don't like that the map in the pause menu needs to decompress when looking at a new area.

I know that this is a mobile port, and missing a few songs (due to licensing issues), but so far, it seems pretty stable, especially with there being no loading times when you go inside of buildings, or when you save. I also like that it actually has a menu when you boot up the game instead of stupidly chucking you into the game itself (which I never liked about the console GTA games).

Not as bad a port as I was expecting so far, since I heard bad things about this one.
