It is pretty ridiculous just how much people pretend to care about racism.

It's only conservatives pretending to care. They downplay actual blatant racism every chance they get.

Basically this. I've never seen so much race baiting for negative shit so much than on CE, especially and usually the same people. Its sad, i used to never remember names but now I have names down packed and the only people I recognize are either trump supporters or racists and it turns out they're always both.

There's definitely way more people on the other side of the aisle who jump at every chance to condemn something tangentially racist out of pure OCD-like tendencies and not because they legitimately care about the impact that statement has on someone (because it often has little or no impact).

But everything has an impact in the world. Civil Rights Movement was a huge impact but still not enough. Police brutality is a real thing. I don't understand...I mean..??????

Maybe not EVERYTHING is racist but as a person who is white and is around white people, I already know shit people say when nobody's looking because I'm that guy they tell it to. I don't understand how people can seriously deny that this racist shit doesn't go on.
