That reminds me of story.

A liberal man was at home with his wife and child when a robber began trying to break open their door. The man quickly took his family upstairs and they hid in one of the bedrooms and locked the door. The man called the police and the operator told him they would get their as soon as they could.

The robber managed kicked open their door and they could hear him ransacking the first floor of their home. The kid said, "Dad! I'm scared!" The dad reassured his kid, "Don't worry! The government is sending someone to help us."

A few minutes later, they could hear the the robber searching the second floor of their home. The kid once again cried to his father, "Dad! I'm scared!" The dad tried to again reassure his kid, "Don't worry! Surely the government will keep us safe!"

Another minute passed and the robber was now breaking down the door of their bedroom. The kid once again expressed his fear to his father. Before the dad could reply, the robber broke down the door and stabbed them all to death.

When the man went to heaven, he approached God and asked "God, I've been a good man for my whole life. Why did you not send a government employee to help us? Why didn't you save our lives?" God replied, "I gave you the Second Amendment, I gave you the AR-15 and I gave you a pair of balls. Why didn't you use them?"
