Europe just had a huge overhaul of personal data laws
So as an American I'm still fair game for companies to do whatever the fuck they want to obtain information about me and sell it to anyone willing to pay a few bucks, right?
ive read the guy who created whatsapp left facebook because Zuckerberg wants weaken the encryption so facebook can collect data from whatsapp users
in europe they had to fine facebook and force it to stop collecting data from whatsapp users
dont know if the rest of the world did or would do something like this
